Creation of ALTAREA

Takeover of GEREC, a company specialising in the building of shopping centres, formed in 1973. ALTAREA is awarded the contract to build Espace Coty by the city of Le Havre.

ALTAREA is awarded the contract to build Espace Grand'Rue by the city of Roubaix. A residential building is delivered in Asnières. Takeover of ESPACE AMENAGEMENT, a commercial asset management company of Foncière Rallye.

Opening of Espace Coty in Le Havre.

Completion of Bercy Village.

Beginning of business in Italy with the creation of ALTAREA ITALIA.

Opening of the following shopping centres: Espace Jaurès in Brest, Espace Grand'Rue in Roubaix, Côté Seine in Argenteuil, Boutiques Gare du Nord in Paris. Beginning of the Retail Park business with the creation of Compagnie Retail Park. Injection of funds managed by Morgan Stanley in the capital ALTAREA amounting to 20%.

ALTAREA is awarded the contract for Carré de Soie (Vaulx-en-Velin/Villeurbanne), Porte Jeune (Mulhouse), L'Aubette (Strasbourg). ALTAREA ITALIA enters into a partnership agreement to complete a shopping centre in Rome (Casetta Mattei Centre). Delivery of 117 residences in Argenteuil.

Beginning of business in Spain with the creation of ALTAREA ESPAÑA. Purchase of IMAFFINE and merger-takeover of ALTAREA by IMAFFINE. Completion of Les Tanneurs in Lille.

The ALTAREA group opts for the SIIC regime. Credit Agricole enters the capital of Altarea. Creation of ALTACITE, joint venture for new urban developments with Caisse des Dépôts
